Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Virtual Special Education Teacher to join our team. As a Virtual Special Education Teacher, you will work with students who have diverse learning needs, providing individualized and group instruction in a fully remote environment.
Responsibilities:
• Provide instruction in core subjects (such as math, reading, writing) and other specialized areas as needed.
• Use virtual tools and platforms to deliver engaging, interactive lessons tailored to students needs.
• Monitor student progress, provide regular assessments, and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with parents, school staff, and other educators to ensure students receive the necessary support.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training.
Qualifications:
• Valid Virginia teaching certification in Special Education (K-12).
• Experience working with students with disabilities, including IEP development and implementation.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and needs.
