Title: Customer Service Representative
Reports to: Director of Practice Operations
Overall Responsibility: Providing superb customer service and a welcoming environment to all patients seeking services
Areas of responsibility (Tasks):
• Prepares patients for their appointment by obtaining photo identification, signature of various consent forms, & associated Healthworks/Company paperwork required for visit.
• Responsible for ensuring smooth patient flow throughout the clinic.
• Maintain & coordinate patient schedule for various providers & clinical staff.
• Field incoming phone calls & emails through shared authorization email inbox.
• Assists and prepares employer paperwork for the clinical staff
• Assists with covering at other locations as necessary
• Assists with tasks as directed by management
Skills required:
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally both in writing and verbally
• Demonstrates personal responsibility, integrity and ability to handle Protected Health Information (PHI) in a manner consistent with HIPAA
• Demonstrates attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Ability to work both independently & as part of a team in following company protocols
• Demonstrates basic computer skills with Windows, Microsoft office programs, HealthWorks HER and other software as needed
Experience/Education required:
• Completes employer required trainings in a timely manner
